Step Out in Style... New Year's Eve

My New Year's outfits are different but truly reflect my personal Style. I think outside the box when it comes to Fashion and I really like to stand out! I really take my accessories seriously as they make and break the most simplest items.

Outfit 1 is very, very affordable and looks very Celebrity Inspired. My favorite Designer is Rodarte, and I take a lot of inspiration from there different runway shows

Dress - Necessary Clothing $9.99
Belt - (came with a different Dress from Necessary), that was also $9.99
Tights - Trasperanze Italy $49
Shoes - Sam Edelman $50
Clutch - Katie $22.99

This Beautiful Red Cape is Cynthia Rowley and was a gift from my Family

My Brother bought me this BCBG Headpiece for Christmas and this Challenged me!! I knew I could find something in My Closet to go with it and I was very lucky to find the Jumper

The Jumpsuit - Max Azria Collection $579
BCBG Headpiece - $179
Clutch - NYC
Shoes - Specchio on Bloor ST $100
The Cape is another Cynthia Rowley that I picked up at Winners last year for less than $30

The Details in this Navy Blue crepe Jumper are why I love this! 2 high slits on each leg and a low open back. The ankles are cuffed with buttons so I feel like "I dream of Geenie"

THANKS FOR THE LOVE AND SUPPORT THIS YEAR!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES
IM EXCITED FOR 2013!

Spend it Good... Shopping Haul!

Here is a little Shopping Haul I did just a few months ago. I did a "try-on" session in the end; I thought I would still post this because I actually saw a few of the items on sale recently, and the items from Katie are still available
Enjoy!

Clutch available at Katie $22
Available in Black, Stone, Royal Blue, and Fuschia Pink

My Favorite buy from this Haul
Anna Della Russo for H&M
Snake Bracelet

Statement Necklaces Pt 1

I got a few requests to do a Jewelry Collection Video, and I loved the idea; so I started with a Video about "Wrist Candy" and then I did one about Statement Necklaces. Instead of doing a tour and going through every single item, this makes it easy to show you and give tips at the same time.

This is my most favorite video that I have ever made. When I was thinking about theme, I really wanted to do something different. I wanted the video to really tell a story about the Jewelry and how they suit my personality. Let me know what you think in the comments below.

"Closet Freak" is a Clothing Sale that started as a Garage sale that I did where I live. Every Season when I purge and separate my clothing, I keep the stuff from my "Away Pile" and store them so that I can sell them at the sale. I get back at small percentage of what I paid for each item, then I can use to buy new stuff!

Why Sell my used clothing? Well, Why go Thrifting?

Thrifting has become so popular, that  knowing when they get their shipments, doesn't cut it anymore. Everything gets picked over so fast, that great finds are getting "hard to find". These Pop Up type Sales are a great excuse to get the girls together, and shop for gently worn and unworn items. I call it Boutique Thrifting, because its someone you know and great prices. When we all got together during set up we ended up swapping so things with each other because we loved all the inventory!
One Womans Trash is another Womans Treasure at this type of sale, I still ended up coming home with some cute items when I went to sell!
This year it 5 of us purged and so instead of my closet it was 5 Fashionista's Closets!  We had Brands like FCUK, BCBG, Bebe, and even High End Brands like Gucci, and Fendi.

We had a selection of Shoes: sneakers, wedges, heels and boots size 7-11 and the shoes were priced from $10-$30. We have Hats, bags and accessories for $3-$5! Thanks to all the ladies that brought in their purged items! The clients were loving the selection. Clothing sizes were 0-12 with Sweaters up to XL.

Janelle made her famous Sangria, and we had Cupcakes from a Cake Gangster!
Shopping is always fun with cocktails and treats.

Thanks to everyone that came out we will be holding some of the items at the Salon for the rest of the week!~ If you want to come down, message me for an appointment to go through the items left! For an appointment with Sophia rsvpgrp@gmail.com
