Leather Overalls still going strong, and still available

Leather Jumpsuits and overalls have been on trend since 2011, and are still going strong. The problem? They are hard to find, not everyone can afford the Phillip Lim's. My fascination with finding a pair is because you can wear them with a pair of J's (Air Jordan's), or dress them up with heels and lots of accessories. Leather to me really doesn't go out of style, you just pull them out of the closet and wear them every once in a while.

Zara came out with a pair this spring, and I saw them in New York. I was waiting for them to go on sale (they are $395), when a friend on Instagram told me she saw them at Danier Leather for $99

I called Danier immediately, and they did have a Lambskin leather jumpsuit on clearance. To my surprise, it was from a 2011 capsule collection designed by Mark Fast.

I was very lucky! They had my size, and I got 10% off! That's not the best part, the original price of the jumpsuit was $599! I got it for $89 plus tax. Wow talk about Spending it Good!

This jumpsuit is comfortable and the leather is like butta! They still have stock of this jumpsuit at the Eglinton and Warden location. They will have it shipped to the store nearest you! Awesome service

Spend it Good... May is DIY Month!

When I went to Atlanta, I stained my pair of white jeans by accidentally sitting on a dirty chair. When I returned home, I washed them twice and the stain did not come out. I was getting ready to throw the jeans away and thought: "I must be able to do something with theses jeans". I decided to try to tie dye them.

This is what you will need:

Paint brushes (with Sponge)
Old White Jeans or Pants
2 packs of Dye
White Kitchen Trash bags
Scissors
2 containers
Hot Water

Spend it Good... Ripped Jeans DIY

While doing my Spring Cleaning, I found so many items to donate. I give all my old clothing to The Kind Exchange on Queen St, as well as to my local Value Village. I found a few pairs of jeans that I don't wear, and a romper that I had never worn so I decided to do a DIY...

Here is a Before and after of the romper, and the jeans. The romper was $12 in NYC and the Jeans are from the Gap.

Step Out in Style... Tall Girls I got you!

I was in Mississauga yesterday and browsed around the shops at Britannia and Mavis. BCBG is amazing over there and they always have a lot of Max Azria Collection and Runway in that location. (I saw an Herve Leger Bandage Dress for $490).

On my way out of the lot I saw this sign and thought... I'm long and tall, there has to be something here for me!

I was greeted when I walked in by a friendly staff, and I was approached because I was standing there with my mouth wide open because I saw Sam Edelman's!

I am a huge fan of Sam Edelman shoes and I was truly happy because these Sam Edelman's were from size 10-13. I get a lot of emails from women asking where they can find stylish shoes in size 11 and up, and that's why I am happy that I found this store.

Do these ladies look familiar? if you are a BCBG fan, then you know that the mannequins look very similar. I love a company that buys nice mannequins.

Beautiful Sitting Area

Ladies, if you are a size 10-13, or if you know someone that is looking for a stylish shoe, in that size range share this blog post! The selection is fantastic and I own some of the styles that I saw on the shelves. They are not specially made styles for tall girls lol.
